Hello All! I’m here again with the update of my reading for this month. I didn’t read as much, but I did however continue reading short stories from my English classes.

I included the rating I gave these books, and I don’t plan on giving all these books a book review but if there’s a book you want me to review or hear more about, comment below!

Number of Books Read: 1

Types of Books:

1 Young adult Fantasy

Pages Read: Approx. 352

The books I read were:

515KdeYm7XL._SX331_BO1,204,203,200_ To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo

Rating: 4 Stars

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I picked up this book. I usually like romance in books, especially in retellings, but honestly this book was really well done, and the romance was just a bonus.

Summary: Princess Lira is a lethal siren; with princes lined up to wed her. On an unfateful night, she kills one of her own. The Sea Queen decides to punish Lira by turning her into a human, stripping her on her song. She has until the winter solstice to give the Sea Queen Prince Elian’s heart, or she’ll remain a human forever. Over on Prince Elian’s side, he hunts sirens, but one day he saves a woman from drowning. She claims that she can help him find a key to get rid of sirens, but all it will take is trust.

I also am taking two English classes that are focusing on short stories, and overall writings, so I have come up with a list of short stories that I’ve read during this month. If you have read any of them, let me know down in the comments, or contact me; And that goes as well if you would like to know my thoughts on any of these stories.
