This month I bought quite a few books. I did go to a book sale that happened near my house, so I did find some cheaper books there, so that’s probably why I have so many listed on here. But I did only spend money if the books were on sale or I had a coupon this month, which is really good for me.

Wayfarer by Alexandra Bracken
Summary: This is the second book in the Passenger duology, Etta awakens alone in an unknown place and time, exposed to the threat of the two groups who would rather see her dead than succeed. Julian Ironwood comes to help, but he was long presumed dead. Nicholas and Sophie are trying to find Etta before time runs out.
In Real Life by Lawrence Tabak
Summary: Seth Gordon is a 15-year-old math prodigy, who only wants to play video games. He finds a game called, Starfare, which he becomes obsessed with, but his parents disapprove of him playing this game. Hannah comes into his life and has become a new distraction for him. After a defeat in his rankings for the Starfare tournament, the Korean Pro Squads see something in him, and soon enough he moves to South Korea, but once he finds something in himself to balance things out, will he be ready to come home to Hannah, and make his parents more approving?
The Dead by Charlie Higson
Summary: This is the second book in the Enemy series, which continues the war between humans and zombies. Maxie, Blue and the rest of the Holloway crew realize they aren’t the only ones trying to escape the zombies; Jack and Ed are also fighting against them as well. Once these teens all come together, the meet Greg who claims he’s immune to the disease. But once they realize the fast-evolving spread of the disease, they realize not all can survive.
Confessions of a Sociopath: A Life Spent Hiding in Plain Sight by M.E. Thomas
Summary: A memoir of a diagnosed sociopath, with the narrative from the author. This book is a real-life story, going through their life of her experience and world through a non-criminal sociopath.
Dracula by Bram Stoker
Summary: This is a classic novel about Count Dracula, a night-dwelling phantom who feeds on the blood of the living, attracted to the innocent and helpless. This horror story tells the atrocities that occur in the nighttime and the desires toward human conditions.
The Secrets of Lily Graves by Sarah Strohmeyer
Summary: Lily Graves comes from a family of morticians, which means she is the next to become one. Lily gets involved with a boy named Matt after he asks her to be his tutor. Once their lives intertwine, Matt’s girlfriend Erin turns up dead, and people suspect Lily and Matt to have something to do with it. She must overcome the truth of what happened, and fast before the killer attacks again.
The Dead Zone by Stephen King
Summary: A man named John Smith has come and went from the Dead Zone. Once he awakens from a coma after a terrible accident, four years later, he is able to see the future and the terrible things that awaken in the Dead Zone.
The Gunslinger by Stephen King
Summary: Roland Deschain is the Last Gunslinger, a man who is considered haunting and mysterious, he actually is just a good man trying the capture the man in black who bring the dead back to life.
The Drawing of the Three by Stephen King
Summary: In the second novel of the Dark Tower series, it continues the quest for Roland to find the Dark Tower. Along his way, he joins forces with a man named Eddie and a woman named Odetta Holmes to try and save the underworld evil.
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë
Summary: In this historical classic, it guides the story of a once-orphaned Jane, who receives a job in the hands of Edward Rochester, at Thornfield Hall. While she’s there, she falls in love, very hard. But she senses the looming secrets that are present in Thornfield Hall, and Jane wonders if she’ll be able to stay.
Warcross by Marie Lu
Summary: A game called Warcross becomes popular worldwide. A computer hacker, Emika Chen hacks in to see who’s gambling illegally online in the game. But as soon as she hacks into the game, she gets nervous as she illegally hacks into it. But to her luck, the game creator, Hideo Tanaka calls her with a job offer, which would be an inside spy to figure out of security problem.
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
Summary: This is the third installment of the A Court of Thorns and Roses, which continues as Feyre returns to the Spring Court determined to unravel secrets that could create chaos. Feyre must decide who to trust and hunt allies.
Scythe by Neil Shusterman
Summary: This story takes place in a world that has no death unless it comes from scythes. Citra and Rowan are chosen to become a scythe, but neither of them wants this position. They must learn to kill, and if not, they run the risk of their own life.
Believ-a-rexic by J.J. Johnson
**Trigger Warning: Eating Disorders, Suicide, Self-Harm, Alcoholism, and Depression
Summary: This is an autobiographical novel, told in third person and leading into first person, Jennifer fights to be admitted into the hospital for her eating disorder when her parents disagree with. Once she’s admitted, she realizes she is in more for than what she anticipated it would be like in the inpatient facility.
Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi
