Hello! I hope you all have had a very nice week. In this post, I will be doing the Hamilton Book Tag!

I know I’m very late at the game for posting this sort of book tag, however, in honor of doing this, I am actually seeing Hamilton for the first time at the end of March, and I am so excited.

I developed my love for Hamilton in my first semester of my freshman year of college. My roommate was very into theater and I overheard it while she was listening to her playlist of musicals, and instantly fell in love.

I don’t have much money especially to travel and then see Hamilton, so I wasn’t expecting to see it. My lovely boyfriend, Eric bought me the tickets so we can travel and go see the show as my Christmas present. He planned it all out around my spring break and so he could take off work and so I wouldn’t have to miss school.

***The links connected to the title of the song are not mine, I took them off Youtube in order for you all to listen to the songs throughout this book tag! ***

So with that little note, let’s get into the book tag!

1. The Room Where It Happens: Book world you would put yourself in

This is a tricky one, the one that is calling me more to is the Shadowhunter world. It’s our real world but has different aspects of magic and powers, and it doesn’t seem too bad.

2. The Schuyler Sisters: Underrated Female Character

Shirin from A Very Large Expanse of Sea because for how much she’s been through, she’s still incredibly tough. You see her grow in the book and how she views the world and her story is definitely one to be heard.

3. My Shot: A character that goes after what they want and doesn’t let anything stop them

I would say, Evelyn Hugo, because she has gone through a lot in her life but she doesn’t let it get her down and she kept going on; especially at the beginning of her career.

4. Stay Alive: A character you wish was still alive [warning spoilers!]

I really loved Dobby from Harry Potter so it would be nice if he was alive. Also, Evelyn Hugo, because I feel like she would be a very insightful woman to learn from, besides the story she told within the novel.

5. Burn: The most heartbreaking end to a relationship you’ve ever read [warning spoilers!]

Not many books that I’ve read had a heartbreaking ending, but there is one couple that I’ve thought about when I read the question. No doubt, The Fault in our Stars couple, Augustus and Hazel Grace. I understand why John Green wrote the book the way he did, but it doesn’t make it hurt any less. When Augustus died, it broke my heart, and I cannot imagine what Hazel Grace was thinking when it happened because oh my god.

6. You’ll Be Back: Sassiest villain

I can’t really come up with a sassy villain. I can think of some but I don’t think they’re sassy though. So, I will put this question on hold, but if any of you come up with something for this question, let me know!

7. The Reynolds Pamphlet: A book with a twist that you didn’t see coming [warning spoilers!]

The one that I immediately thought about was We Were Liars. I didn’t really like the book in the beginning but when I discovered essentially everything that had happened wasn’t real, I was caught off guard. Like, enough to rate a little higher than I was thinking I would have.

8. Non-stop: A series you marathoned

I marathoned The Mortal Instruments in just a week. I wanted to end my last summer before college by finishing that series because I wanted to get to it during the summer but never got around to it because of other books. I also didn’t know when I was going to get to it during college, so I was determined to read the series, and I’m so glad that I did.

9. Satisfied: Favorite book with multiple POVs

As this should be quite obvious, All the Ugly and Wonderful Things. This has more POVs than expected, it is told in mostly Wavy’s perspective but the reader sees other points from her grandmother, cousin, a judge, a teacher, and Kellen, and there a probably a few more as well.

10. Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story: A book/series you feel like will be remembered throughout history

I can totally see how the Mortal Instruments will be remembered because it still is a very talked about series. Although, I don’t think Harry Potter hype will ever stop.
