Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
I don’t think there is because I must have stopped reading that book for a reason, and didn’t get into it. If there is something I began to read and still has kept my interesting, I will most likely pick it up in future.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
No, I kinda just read on how I’ve been feeling and I only read one book in fall, and wouldn’t necessarily put it in this category.
Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
I still haven’t bought Queen of Air and Darkness yet, but I asked for it for Christmas. If somehow I haven’t received it for Christmas, I will certainly buy it after that and read it.
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
Queen of Air and Darkness, Battle Royale, and G’morning, G’night
Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?
Honestly, maybe Battle Royale. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the novel, and I’m excited to read it but I don’t know if the genre or the style of writing will be for me, but it’s possible a new favorite book.
Have you already started making reading plans for 2019?
I haven’t. After I took basically a semester off of reading, I don’t want to force myself to read books as I have in the past. Since my mental health hasn’t been very good this semester and end of summer, I try to tell myself, “One day at a time.”
