Jake then takes on the mission to prevent the assassination just by stepping into the portal and following one man, Lee Harvey Oswald.

Summary: Gemma Doyle is sent to a boarding school in England after her mother’s suicide. Gemma has the sense to see the future, and typically they come true, and the things she sees there are pretty chilling. She is also followed by an Indian man who was sent to watch her, and she needs to know why. She also learns what the spiritual world and the connection to the girls at the boarding school lead to.

Summary:  Young seventeen-year-old Mariko is sent to meet her betrothed, Raiden but as she travels she gets attacked by the Black Clan. She survives the attack and makes the decision to be a boy in order to avenge those who attacked her. Mishaps occur while she goes on this journey, and she questions a lot about herself along the way.

As they both try to unravel the mystery, they meet Cinder; which they all need to figure out the how to beat Levana, the Lunar Queen, who will do everything in her power to destroy someone who gets in her way.


All We Have Left by Wendy Mills

Summary: In stories told in the past and present of the September 11th attack on the twin towers, two girls tell their stories about their experiences. Jesse’s story leads to talk about the aftermath of the attack and the death of her brother. Alia’s story is told during the happenings on the attack, trying to escape, along with a boy she decides to trust.
